LMC has won the engineering and fabrication contract to supply an external turret mooring system for the FPSO vessel destined for Petrobras’ Libra field offshore Brazil.
The US$110m contract will see LMC carry out engineering, procurement and construction of the complete external cantilever turret. LMC will also design the mooring lines, analyse the risers and provide engineering support for integration of the turret and swivel stack. The turret will be fabricated at the Triyards shipyard in Vietnam and will be integrated with the Navion Norvegia FPSO at Jurong Shipyard.
The floater is expected to start operations in the first half of 2017.
